RFID-UHF Gate

The RFID UHF Gate is optimized for the urban environment and for monitoring vehicles in transit in the "lit" area, at a maximum distance of 6,0 metres with the output power configured in accordance to the limitations of the law.

The system is composed of:

  • antenna for lighting the reading area
  • reading system
  • control unit and router for collecting and transmitting data
  • pole

When the gate detects a card it sends the data stored in the tag memory to the INeS Cloud, with the timestamp of the detection, for the managing of the identification and control services.

With RFID UHF Gates for passive tag it's possible to manage services with similar performances to those of active or semi-passive tags:

  • access control
  • fleet vehicle management
  • cash free / free flow access
  • permit control of disabile people
  • integration with LTZ homologated gates

In real conditions usage the success recognition percentage is of 99.9% up to 120 Km/h, based on scientific/technological data and on various tests carried out on site.

The system is based on a RFID reader operative in unlicensed UHF 865-870MHz in compliance with the ISO standard 18000-6 and EPC Global Class 1 Gen2 (regarding the technological and radiofrequency) and the standards ETSI EN 302 208 and ETSI EN 300 220 (regarding the electromagnetic compatibility characteristics).
